The Centenary Claret Jug Competition

A special competition inaugurated to celebrate the Centenary of the Club, in aid of the Vice-Captain's charity. The inaugural competition was held on 25 August 2010, as an 11-hole Stableford followed by lunch at Nilly's, and will be an annual event to raise funds for the Vice-Captain's Charity.

Winner: Denis Palmer - 29 points (on 3-hole countback)

2nd Place: Colin Gross - 29 points

Congratulations to Denis Palmer and Colin Gross, and a big Thank You to everyone who made this day such a success. We raised £600 and our Captain presented a cheque to Ray Varty, Club Vice-Captain, who honoured us with his presence for the day.
